Site Grading
Phase 2
September 10, 2006
Early in September, land surveyors and engineers visited the site of the Chino Hills Hindu Mandir and Cultural Complex to precisely plan the development of the property. With the use of GPS technology, they took exact land measurements of the site to create maps and legal descriptions.

A permit was then issued to begin grading the land. Grading the land provides more suitable topography for buildings, to control surface runoff, and it also minimizes soil erosion and insoluble mineral deposits both during and after construction.
