A few months ago, a traditional ceremony was performed to commence the Chino Hills Mandir and Cultural Center Project. That ceremony was an affirmation of our belief in the future. We marked the surface of the ground out of respect for the earth. We dug into the earth to construct the stable foundations of our community. We sowed the seeds to grow our future.
Work officially began at the site as workers started to clear the trees in preparation for the first phase of construction – demolition and site clearing. Once the trees are removed, a demolition crew will come in and remove the structures that currently exist on the land. The new complex will have over 500 trees; 54% of the property will be beautifully landscaped.
